ReMix Science and Care Receives $15,000 RISE HIGH Grant from Neighborhood Allies

PITTSBURGH, PA | July 2026 — ReMix Science and Care (RMSC) has been awarded a $15,000 RISE HIGH Grant from Neighborhood Allies, marking a significant milestone for the emerging Pittsburgh-based nonprofit.
The funding will support the development and implementation of ReMix's inaugural microgrant program, which aims to reduce financial barriers for students and early-career professionals pursuing opportunities in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), and healthcare.
Investing in Educational Opportunity
For many aspiring STEM and healthcare professionals, expenses beyond tuition can create significant obstacles. Examination fees, laboratory supplies, professional conferences, and other educational requirements can limit access to opportunities essential for academic and career advancement.
